Felt like doing a quick update.  Been working on Stranded, the series I was talking about.  I've gotten one strip done so far and midway through the second strip.  The story involves a young prince/soldier being stranded on a uninhabited wild planet with powerful creatures.  Strand, the main character must survive and find a way back to his world.  He'll befriend some of the creatures and others he'll have to fight.  Unfortunately between work and my work ethic the second strip has been dragging a bit.  I would like for each strip to be limited to 3 panels but we'll see how that lasts.  Right now is mainly set up so it's not quite as big a deal to have limited panels.  In fact, it's probably beneficiary because it forces me to economize my storytelling especially with set up.  Once again once I get into the meat of the story this limitation may change.  Here's hoping for continued motivation.

As far as what I'm watching.  I'm working my way through Farscape atm.  Man I can't believe I haven't watched this show before, it's really good.  It reminds me a lot of the original Star Trek series in that it does the whole adventure planet deal with new aliens each week.  Of course the premise is completely different but the plots of many of the episodes goes along with that.  I wish it had kept the alien alien idea they had going at the beginning, however with their budget, I'm sure it was easier to have people painted up instead.  Other than that complaint I've really dug the show so far.

Watched a little bit of Star Driver, I accidently watched the end first so I spoiled it a little for myself.  I went back and watched the 1st 4 or 5 episodes but slowly lost interest.  The 5th episode(?) killed the show for me by making the female nurse a "humorous" pedophile.  That along with the other bits of fan service exemplified why I don't watch too many new series.

Also went and watched season 1 Alphas.  I don't know this show doesn't get much love.  I think it's a great show with multidimensional characters.  It has had a great story and the powers each character has are based in reality (at least to a degree).  Each character also has flaws that hinder these abilities or causes them to be isolated.

Watched some of ROD Tv again, I've tried to make my why through this series a couple of times now but I get stuck everytime.  I think my problem is that the character I like least tends to be the major focus and it goes back to the whole Moe/pedophile trend that's overtaken anime (the character is in like 8th grade).  Don't know if I'll continue it.

May try and make my way through Zeta Gundam.  I watched the original series awhile back and have been meaning to watch the sequel which I've heard is even better.  Which is impressive cause I really enjoyed the original.

Last one (I believe at least) started watching Arrow.  So far I've been impressed with it.  It has the feel of the Nolan Batman movies without feeling liking a retread.  The underlying plot of what happened to Oliver Queen on the island is interesting, however, I'm afraid that eventually it will become a bit of a stretch that all these things happened to him.  Once again so far I've enjoyed it but since it's the CW i'm a little weary of it still.

So yeah ended up typing way more than I meant.  Apologies for bad grammar/misspellings, I'm too tired to care atm so take it as is.
