What was and shall never be

So here we are again.  Long gaps between updates haha  Sorry about that

So on the creative front, I've been sort of ADD, jumping from one idea to another never really being able to settle down and actually work on one.  This is my biggest achilles heel I would say.  I've gotten better but I have too many ideas that sound cool but I never get around to fleshing them out.  So I may have come up with a solution which is to just draw something, take the idea and just go until I write myself into a corner.

My art skills (or lack thereof) have also hurt my ability to settle down and draw something.  As lame as it sounds I'm afraid to work on something cause it might suck and I'd feel like I'd wasted my time.  It's weird I'm not like that with photography for some reason.  I guess it's because you simply don't have time to worry about it at the time.  You're capturing a fleeting instance.

So the idea I'm really really hoping to at least get moving is a Herculoids style series with a space traveler crash landing on a uncolonized world filled with dangerous monsters that he must either coexist with or survive.  The concept itself may work very well with the whole making it up as I go.  We shall see where it goes.  If it goes well I'll have updates in the near future.  If not, well keep on truckin'.

On the entertainment front, I've finished X.  Final opinion, meh.  It could have been really good but it's pretty obvious the series isn't finished when you get to the last 1/4th.  Like everything feels rushed because the episode count was running out.  Also the concepts they were working with just don't pan out very well.  I don't know if I'd recommend it after all.  Started Farscape a few weeks ago.  Definitely been fairly impressed with it so far.  It's not floored me but it definitely has me coming back for more.
